Most Stacha, Stone bridge in Znamirowice, Poland

This stone bridge spans 20 meters across a deep ravine, featuring arched walls and rising 13 meters above a small stream at Lake Rożnowskie.

Local farmer Jan Stach constructed the bridge between 1968 and 1971 after being denied access to his farm through neighboring properties.

The bridge became the subject of a 1971 documentary film 'Wznoszę pomnik' by Jerzy Jaraczewski, documenting the construction and determination of Jan Stach.

Access to Most Stacha requires permission from current landowners, as the structure sits along the marked tourist trail from Tarnów to Wielki Rogacz.

Built entirely from Siwiec sandstone, the bridge includes a barrel-vaulted tunnel measuring 3 meters high and 2 meters wide for water passage.
