Marian Lutosławski Bridge in Lublin, Gothic Revival bridge in Lublin, Poland

The Marian Lutosławski Bridge is a road bridge in Lublin featuring sharp pointed arches and ornamental details inspired by Gothic design. It crosses the Bystrzyca River and links several districts together.

The bridge was built between 1999 and 2001 by architect Jan Heurich following designs with Neo-Gothic elements. It was created as a modern structure to serve the expanding city of Lublin.

The bridge is named after composer Marian Lutosławski and shapes Lublin's skyline with its distinctive profile. It connects different neighborhoods and serves residents daily as a vital crossing point.

The bridge is open daily to vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists, connecting the northern and southern parts of the city. It is best to use the two sidewalks that are separated from vehicle traffic.

The light during golden hours casts shadows on the fine decorations and makes the Gothic arches stand out remarkably. This effect is most visible when viewing from the riverside paths below.
