The museum exhibits thousands of toys throughout four wings of a neoclassical building with a rectangular courtyard at Wolności Square.
Built in 1872 as a commercial bazaar, the building transformed into the Museum of Toys in 1979 and moved to its current location in 2006.
The museum collections include traditional Polish toys, international playthings, and special exhibitions that showcase the evolution of childhood entertainment through generations.
Visitors can explore the museum from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 and 17:00, with admission prices of 25 PLN for adults and 15 PLN for students.
A mechanical figure of Baba Yaga emerges from the building's turret at noon, marking time for visitors in the museum's courtyard.
