Romantism Museum, Romanticism museum in Opinogóra, Poland
The Museum of Romanticism occupies four buildings within an English park, including a Neo-Gothic castle located on a hilltop in Opinogóra.
The castle construction started in 1828 under Italian architect Henryk Marconi and belonged to the Krasiński family, with notable restorations in 1894 and 1912.
The museum exhibits period interiors, decorative art objects, and memorabilia connected to Polish Romantic literature and the Krasiński family legacy.
Located 100 kilometers north of Warsaw and 7 kilometers from Ciechanów, the museum contains the Centre for Studies of the Napoleonic Era.
The site includes a church with the burial crypt of Zygmunt Krasiński, a leading Polish romantic playwright known for 'The Undivine Comedy'.
