Fusiński Park spans 4.8 hectares along Kresowa Street, featuring over 50 species of trees and shrubs across its verdant landscape.
Established in 1935 as the first public park in Sosnowiec, it underwent reconstruction between 1954 and 1956 following substantial damage during World War II.
The park received its current name in 2018 to honor Lieutenant Pilot Jan Fusiński, a local graduate who earned the Virtuti Militari medal.
The park includes walking paths, benches, and an exotarium in its eastern section that displays various plant and animal species.
In 2023, the park transformed into Sosnowiec's first Biodiversity Park, integrating with the exotarium to create a comprehensive botanical complex.
