Wilson Park in Poznań

Wilson Park is a green space in Poznań featuring two ponds connected by a stream and geometric garden sections spread across the grounds. The park houses around 17,000 plants from 700 species displayed in ten exhibition pavilions, including an aquarium section within the Palm House.

The land was purchased by the City Beautification Society in 1834 and transformed into Poznań's first botanical garden in 1901 under Herman Kube's design. This development reflected the city's growing interest in creating spaces for both plant cultivation and public leisure.

The concert shell built in 1936 remains an active venue for musical performances, making the park a gathering place for the city's residents. Throughout the year, outdoor events bring people together in this open-air setting, creating occasions for shared experiences.
