Zasław Malicki Park

Zasław Malicki Park is a green space spanning around 6 hectares within the Rakowiec housing estate, featuring pathways around a central pond and many mature trees. The layout invites visitors to walk through different sections and spend time among the vegetation.

The park developed as part of a modernist housing project designed by architects Szymon and Helena Syrkus during the 1930s in Warsaw. This residential community represented an important urban development effort that transformed housing approaches of that era.

A memorial stone marks the 50th anniversary of the Rakowiec housing estate, and a chapel dedicated to Our Lady Queen of Peace stands in the grounds. Both serve as gathering points where residents connect with their neighborhood's past and present.

You can enter the park through several access points from Dickensa Street and the residential areas surrounding the Rakowiec estate. The grounds are open throughout the day and accessible from different directions depending on where you approach from.

Three trees protected as natural monuments grow in the park: a white poplar, a mountain elm, and a silver maple. Each of these trees carries significance and has been preserved to maintain the area's natural heritage.
