Spa Park in Rabka-Zdrój

The Spa Park in Rabka-Zdrój is a public green space in the town center covering 30 hectares with walking paths that wind through landscaped gardens, flower beds, and old trees. The grounds include sports facilities such as tennis courts, beach volleyball fields, outdoor fitness equipment, and children's playgrounds.

The park was established in the second half of the 19th century, marking the start of Rabka-Zdrój's growth as a spa town. Its creation was tied to the area's rise as a health resort destination.

The park contains a Soviet soldiers' cemetery from World War II near the Three Roses Villa, which visitors encounter as part of their walk. This memorial serves as a quiet place of remembrance within the green space.

The park's paths are well-maintained and easy to navigate, with clear zones for different activities. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and plan time to wander, as the layout encourages exploration at a relaxed pace.

Red squirrels inhabit the park and regularly interact with visitors by accepting nuts from their hands. These tame animals create memorable moments, especially for children who get to observe the creatures up close.
