Marynka Palace in Puławy, 18th century palace in Puławy, Poland.
Marynka Palace is a single-story rectangular building with Corinthian columns and pilasters that support a frieze running along the entire facade. It sits in the southern section of the palace and park complex, positioned beyond the Wild Promenade.
Architect Piotr Aigner designed and constructed this building between 1791 and 1796 for Maria Wirtemberska, daughter of Princess Izabela Czartoryska. The city of Puławy acquired ownership of it in 2017.
The palace takes its name from Maria Wirtemberska, who used it as a private retreat during summer months. Today the round salon with mosaic floors and stucco work shows how the nobility furnished their spaces.
The building is easy to find while exploring Puławy's park area by heading toward the southern section beyond the main walking routes. Visitors should allow time to walk around the surrounding gardens, which are part of the overall experience.
The building contains one of only three window-integrated fireplaces in Poland, a technical and artistic feature rarely seen elsewhere. Its portico design mirrors the famous Royal Lazienki Palace in Warsaw.
