The Palace of Art stands at 4 Plac Szczepanski square, featuring ancient Greek-inspired architecture with Apollo's head above the monumental entrance.
Built in 1901, the Palace became the first Art Nouveau structure in Kraków, commissioned by the Society of Fine Arts Friends established in 1854.
The exterior walls display relief works designed by painter Jacek Malczewski, depicting the creative process through symbolic representations.
The palace maintains regular exhibition schedules, hosting international festivals, organ concerts, and design exhibitions throughout the calendar year.
Sculpture busts embedded in the side wall niches preserve the likenesses of notable Kraków artists from the early twentieth century.
