The museum was founded in 1987 to mark an important moment in the history of Polish insurance companies. It gathered more than 35,000 historical documents from different areas of the insurance industry.
The museum shows how business practices in Poland changed through insurance policies, photographs, and tools from different times. Visitors can see how the industry transformed its work over generations.
The museum is located near Teatr Bagatela and is open for visits from Tuesday through Friday. Plan ahead since entry is only by guided tour.
The museum holds Poland's only collection dedicated to insurance history, bringing together materials from both domestic and foreign sources. This focused gathering cannot be found anywhere else in the country.
