Pekao-Building in Warsaw

Pekao-Building is an office tower in Warsaw's Wola district, rising 20 stories along Grzybowska Street. The facade displays the clean, functional design typical of 1990s architecture with expansive windows serving the office spaces inside.

The tower was constructed between 1991 and 1993 as one of the first modern office buildings in post-transition Warsaw. It originally served as the headquarters for Bank Pekao before being repurposed for other users in later years.

The construction of Pekao Tower represented an early example of modern office architecture in Poland following the post-communist transformation period.

The building sits at 53-57 Grzybowska Street in Wola and is easily accessible by public transportation. The surrounding area offers shops and services within walking distance for those visiting the neighborhood.

Architect Miljenko Dumenčić designed this tower during a period when Warsaw had few modern office buildings, making it a pioneering structure in the city's development. The building marks a turning point in Warsaw's modernization during the 1990s.
