Pomnik lotniczy MiG-17PF w Ostrowcu Świętokrzyskim

The MiG-17PF monument in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski is a full-scale Soviet fighter jet mounted on a pedestal at 2 Letnia Street. The aircraft dates from the 1950s and displays the characteristic features of this fast combat plane from the Cold War era.

The MiG-17PF was erected in 1984 as a gift from the Polish People's Army to mark the 40th anniversary of the Polish People's Republic. It remained at its original location for decades before being relocated to its current site in 2023.
