Originally named Schloss Eisersdorf, the palace remained under German control until 1945 when the region transferred to Polish territory after World War II.

The palace represents the architectural preferences of Silesian nobility, incorporating both German and Polish design influences in its construction.

Located 7 kilometers south of Kłodzko, visitors can reach the palace by following the main road through the village of Żelazno.
