Located at the intersection of Narutowicza, Uniwersytecka, Jaracza, and Wierzbowa streets, Park Staszica offers 4.1 hectares of green space with a central pond and playground.
The park opened in 1901 with 1,174 trees of 231 species and 6,200 shrubs of 254 varieties from Piotr Hoser nurseries.
The 1984 monument of Stanisław Staszic, created by sculptor Kazimierz Karpiński, stands as a tribute to one of the city's founding contributors.
Multiple entrances surround the park, with the main access point located at Narutowicza Street near the Tramwajowa intersection.
Four protected trees and two erratic boulders received natural monument status in 1994 during a comprehensive conservation project.
