Kino Wilda, Movie theater in Wilda district, Poznań, Poland
The Kino Wilda theater featured 758 seats upon opening, which were later reduced to 642 seats during renovations in the 1990s.
Inaugurated on September 15, 1962, with the screening of 'The Magnificent Seven', the theater operated continuously until March 31, 2005.
The cinema hosted premieres of major Polish films, including 'With Fire and Sword' in 1999 and 'Revenge' in 2002 with director Andrzej Wajda.
Following a 3.5 million złoty renovation in 1999, the theater received upgraded technical equipment and improved viewer comfort features.
In 2014, a neon sign bearing the cinema's name was installed above the former entrance, preserving the memory of this cultural institution.
