Mysłakowice Castle, Neoclassical palace in Mysłakowice, Poland.
Mysłakowice Castle is a neoclassical palace located in the village of Mysłakowice southeast of Jelenia Góra. The building displays symmetrical wings, substantial stone walls, and carefully detailed window frames across its facade.
Prussian field marshal August von Gneisenau owned the property until 1831, when King Frederick William III acquired it. The king then commissioned architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel to renovate the complex.
The estate was shaped by collaboration between notable architects including Karl Friedrich Schinkel and Friedrich August Stüler. Their work together created the building's distinctive character that visitors see today.
The palace sits roughly seven kilometers southeast of Jelenia Góra near the Tyrolean Houses district. Visitors can easily access hiking trails into the Karkonosze Mountains from this location.
Marble columns gifted by Joseph Bonaparte were worked into the buildings of the complex. These columns were later also integrated into the construction of the neighboring church.
