Ławeczka Marka Perepeczki w Częstochowie

Ławeczka Marka Perepeczki is a bronze sculpture on Najświętszej Maryi Panny Avenue in Częstochowa showing the actor seated in life-sized form on a bench. Sculptor Wojciech Pondel created this work to blend public art with functional seating for passersby.

The memorial was unveiled on October 31, 2014, with participation from Perepeczko's wife Agnieszka Fitkau-Perepeczko and Częstochowa city president Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk. This ceremony recognized his lasting impact on Polish theater and cinema during his lifetime.

The bench honors Marek Perepeczko, an actor and director who shaped Polish theater and film for decades, and his presence here reflects how the city celebrates those who contributed to its cultural life.

The bench sits across from the Gallery of Fine Arts and near the Pilgrim Museum, making it easy to visit alongside other neighborhood attractions. Visitors can sit here while exploring the surrounding area or taking photographs from the street.

The sculpture sits near another memorial bench honoring poet Halina Poświatowska, together forming part of Częstochowa's walking route that celebrates local artistic figures. This pairing creates an informal gallery of remembrance along the avenue.
