Piotrkowice Palace

Piotrkowice Palace is a Renaissance structure featuring a balanced facade with decorated window surrounds and carved stonework. The building shows both its original mid-16th century design and later baroque additions from the late 1600s.

The palace was built around the 1500s as a residence for a noble family in Lower Silesia. In the late 1600s, its owners renovated it with baroque features to keep it fashionable.

The name reflects the region's German and Polish heritage, marking centuries of cultural connection between both traditions. You can see this blend in the building's architecture and the way rooms are arranged throughout.

The palace is located northwest of Wrocław and is best visited by car, as public transport to the area is limited. Parking is available on site, and it is advisable to contact ahead to arrange access.

The main hall contains preserved wall paintings from the Renaissance period showing scenes from classical mythology. These rare artworks offer insight into the artistic tastes and learning of the family who once lived here.
