Kamienica Fukierów is a four-story classicist building located where Market Square meets Piwna Street in Warsaw's Old Town. Its interior courtyard features Renaissance arcades supported by columns with ornate wrought-iron railings.
The property began as two wooden structures in the 1400s and was rebuilt in brick during 1552. Major redesigns in 1718 and 1782 transformed it into the classicist form it holds today.
The Fukier family, who bought the building in 1810, ran a wine bar and wine cellars here; the wine cellar in the large basement became famous. The stone portal from the market square bears their coat of arms and the initials of Florian Fukier. Today the ground floor holds the "U Fukier" restaurant, whose rooms refer to early classicism.
The ground floor functions as the U Fukier restaurant where visitors can dine and experience the space directly. The building sits centrally in the Old Town and is easy to reach on foot.
The stone portal from the market square bears the Fukier family coat of arms and the initials of Florian Fukier, added after the family bought the building in 1810. Inside, the hall holds a small wooden ship model and a merchant emblem.
