Old Granary in Olsztyn

The wooden granary features traditional architectural elements with rectangular windows and spans two floors within a larch timber construction framework.

Originally constructed in 1783 in Borowno village for Franciszek Paciorkowski, the granary was relocated to Olsztyn in 2007 and reconstructed to preserve its heritage.

The building displays Polish rural architecture through its wooden construction techniques and represents agricultural storage methods from the 18th century.

Visitors can observe the 19.60-meter beam on the second floor, which remains one of the longest structural supports in Polish wooden architecture.

The date of construction remains carved in the door frame leading from the hall to the Green Room, marking over 230 years of history.
