Brzeźno Pier, drewniane molo znajdujące się w Gdańsku, w dzielnicy Brzeźno
Brzeźno Pier is a wooden and concrete walkway that extends about 136 meters into the Baltic Sea with plenty of space for visitors to stroll comfortably. The pier features benches for sitting, railings for safety, and is surrounded by cafes and small shops just steps away.
An earlier pier existed here around 1900 and was popular with anglers and strollers. The original pier was damaged during World War II and demolished in 1962, after which the current modern pier was built about a kilometer to the north in the 1990s.
The name Brzeźno comes from the Polish word for birch, reflecting the natural trees that once grew along this coast. Today the pier serves as a gathering place where locals and visitors come together to enjoy the sea breeze and take a break from daily life.
The pier is freely accessible year-round at no cost, making it an easy escape for anyone wanting to enjoy the sea. Parking is available nearby and the promenade is bike-friendly, so reaching it by different means of transport is simple.
While most visitors come at sunset, early morning is a less crowded time when the sea is calm and seabirds are active. During these quiet hours you can watch local fishermen and experience the bay in its most undisturbed state.
