Palace in Zabrze-Mikulczyce, Manor palace in Zabrze-Mikulczyce, Poland.
The palace in Zabrze-Mikulczyce is a two-story brick building with a mansard roof and simplified facade featuring a central entrance with a triangular pediment. The estate also includes a park and several auxiliary buildings that together form a complete manor complex.
The building was constructed at the end of the 18th century and initially belonged to the Doleczkowie family. Around 1830, Count Karol Łazarz incorporated the estate into his expanded landholdings in the region.
The palace is part of a protected monument complex with a park and outbuildings that together represent Upper Silesian architectural heritage. Visitors can observe how such manor houses once functioned as centers of estates in the region.
The estate is reachable by public transportation, with buses and trams connecting the location to central Zabrze. Visitors should check ahead as restoration work may still be ongoing on the building.
A fire in October 2012 caused significant damage to the roof and attic sections. Since then, restoration work has become an ongoing project as part of local heritage preservation efforts.
