Gdynia Kamienna Góra Funicular is a modern cable railway that transports visitors from a lower station up a hill with panoramic views through glass walls. The journey takes passengers over a compact distance with a steady climb to the summit.

The funicular opened on 4 July 2015, built under the EU JESSICA programme, which also funded the renovation of Grunwaldzki Square at the foot of Kamienna Góra and an underground car park for 180 vehicles there. Construction cost an estimated 6 million zlotys, and the design was by the firm Arch Deco.

The design of both stations by the firm Arch Deco draws on Gdynia's interwar modernist tradition: simple volumes, minimal detail and noble materials. The lower station stands on Plac Grunwaldzki near the Danuta Baduszkowa Musical Theatre, the upper one on the hilltop.

The funicular is free to use and operates during standard daytime hours without reservation needed. Access is straightforward and the short travel time makes it a practical stop while exploring the city.

The car is run by a security guard rather than a driver, and it holds 960 kilograms: up to 12 standing passengers but only 8 seated. The single track is 115 metres long, and the whole line opened on 4 July 2015 as part of the EU JESSICA programme, which also rebuilt Grunwaldzki Square and its 180-space underground car park.
