Kule Cemetery in Częstochowa

Located on a small hill north of the city center, Kule Cemetery spans across multiple sections with graves dating from different periods.

The cemetery opened in 1882 after relocating from the area of Fabryczna and Ogrodowa streets, with the first burials taking place two years later.

The cemetery contains two family burial chapels belonging to the Kuczyński, Szaniawski, and Nowiński families, along with numerous historical graves from the 19th century.

The cemetery administration transferred from St. Zygmunt Parish to the Archdiocese of Częstochowa in July 2019, with the main entrance at 47 Cmentarna Street.

The southeastern section features an Orthodox quarter containing graves of Russian officials and military personnel relocated from former Orthodox cemeteries.
