Sacred Heart church is a wooden church built from July 1919, standing in the centre of Dobry Las on a concrete-and-stone foundation. Its pine-log walls use a corner-notched construction reinforced with decorative cross-shaped lisice, and the exterior is clad in vertical boards. The rectangular plan measures 23 m by 11 m, with a three-nave interior divided by three pairs of wooden pillars and a barrel vault.

Founded in 1919, the church emerged during Poland's early independence years when Catholic communities were establishing new places of worship. This period marked a time of religious renewal and construction across the country.

The village legend links the church's origin to a wooden statue of St John Nepomucene by the Pisa, where a glow was said to reveal buried treasure; a chapel was built and the date 1851 carved on its beam. The chapel still stands, and the church holds three neo-baroque altars from its construction period.

The church stands in the centre of Dobry Las, on a plot on the Kulasowizna hill chosen by the villagers in May 1919. It is not oriented, so the entrance facade faces west and the three-sided presbytery east. The interior is timber-floored and panelled in wood, with the choir gallery set on the north side.

The structure holds official status as a registered monument, which protects its original architectural features from modification. This designation ensures its historical form remains safeguarded for future generations.
