Lezíria Bridge

Lezíria Bridge is a road bridge that crosses the Tagus and Sorraia rivers, connecting two regions with a continuous structure. The construction uses box girder sections arranged in sequence to span the water below.

The bridge was built between 2005 and 2006 using the balanced cantilever construction method. Its opening provided a new highway route across the river system for the region.

The bridge serves as a connection point between the municipalities of Benavente and Carregado, integrating communities on both sides of the rivers.
