Portugal dos Pequenitos

Portugal dos Pequenitos is a theme park in Covilhã that displays miniature versions of important Portuguese buildings and structures from different regions of the country. The grounds feature a collection of monuments, castles, residences, and religious buildings at reduced scale that visitors can walk through.

A university professor founded this park in 1938 as an educational project, creating a new way to teach about culture through hands-on discovery. The project later influenced how historical buildings could be made accessible and engaging for people of all ages.
