Museu de Santa Maria de Lamas

The museum contains twenty exhibition rooms showcasing religious art collections, sculptures, golden carvings, coins, medals, ceramics, furniture, and cork works.

Founded by cork industry leader Henrique Amorim, the museum started gathering collections in 2004, focusing on religious art, ethnography, natural sciences, and industrial archaeology.

The institution preserves Portuguese heritage through its collection of religious sculptures, traditional crafts, and exhibits highlighting the regional cork industry development.

Located at Largo da Igreja 90, the museum opens daily from 9:30 to 12:30 and 14:00 to 17:30, with adult admission priced at 3 euros.

The museum technicians create special cork products, including replicas of medieval sculptures and seasonal items available in the museum shop.
