Rocha dos Bordões

Rocha dos Bordões is a natural monument on Flores Island featuring towering basalt columns that rise vertically from the earth in a striking geometric pattern. These stone formations resulted from ancient lava flows and represent one of the most distinctive geological features in the Azores.
