Queluz

Queluz is a town near Lisbon where the Royal Palace stands as a significant building surrounded by residential areas and shops. The architectural presence of this palace shapes the location and serves as a central point from which neighborhoods spread outward.

The area was settled in prehistoric times, as shown by archaeological finds from the late Neolithic period. It later developed into a royal residence and became a center of power and administration.
