Ermida de São Sebastião, Manueline chapel in Alvito, Portugal.

The Ermida de São Sebastião features fourteen exterior buttresses topped with prismatic finials and a pointed arch entrance beneath an oculus window.

The chapel construction began around 1485, outside the town walls, following a plague epidemic that affected Portugal in the late 1470s.

The interior walls display 17th-century frescoes by José de Escobar depicting musical angels and various saints, with geometric patterns resembling tiles at the base.

The chapel stands as an Immovable Cultural Heritage of Public Interest monument since 1961, located at coordinates 38°15'17.492"N and 7°59'24.979"W.

The structure combines Late Gothic Alentejo and Manueline styles with Mudéjar elements, making it a fortified sanctuary typical of the region.
