Fine Arts Museum of Brașov, Art museum in central Brașov, Romania
The Fine Arts Museum of Brașov displays over 150 artworks, including paintings and sculptures, across six exhibition rooms on the first floor of the building.
Founded in 1990, the museum maintains a collection that starts with portraits of Saxon patricians and continues through the development of Romanian art until post-war periods.
The National Gallery presents works from Romanian artists and those connected to Brașov, illustrating the evolution of art in Romanian artistic spaces through systematic organization.
The museum operates from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 18:00 during summer months, and from 9:00 to 17:00 during winter months, with different final entry times.
The permanent exhibition arranges artwork selections based on chronological and stylistic criteria, presenting the progression of Romanian artistic movements through different periods.
