Rezervația Domogled, Nature reserve in Caraș-Severin County, Romania.
The Domogled Reserve encompasses 2,382 hectares of diverse terrain featuring limestone walls, canyons, caves, sinkholes, and underground springs in the Cerna Mountains.
The area gained official protection status through Law Number 5 on March 6, 2000, becoming part of the larger Domogled-Valea Cernei National Park.
Local environmental education programs engage communities through activities focused on biodiversity protection and natural resource conservation in the Carpathian Mountains.
Visitors can access the reserve through Băile Herculane resort, following the path along the old limestone quarry valley to explore the protected area.
The reserve contains specific plant species including mountain iris, lily of the valley, and endemic carnations adapted to the limestone environment.
