Stolice, Memorial complex in Brštica, Serbia
The memorial complex features curved stone monoliths standing 6 meters tall, incorporating steel elements within the architectural design at the Zajača mine location.
Military leaders gathered at this location on September 26, 1941, to establish a unified resistance movement against Axis forces during World War II.
The memorial complex includes bronze sculptures created by artists Stevan Bodnarov and Antun Augustinčić, representing the partisan movement and its leadership.
Visitors can reach the memorial site by following Road 139 from Krupanj to Brštica, with the complex visible near the former mining facilities.
Annual gatherings occur at the memorial during Lazarus Saturday, connecting the historical site with Serbian Orthodox religious traditions.
