Ečka Castle, Protected castle in Ečka, Serbia

The castle features an L-shaped layout with 38 rooms and 7 suites, combining medieval elements with modern architectural details throughout the structure.

Built between 1817 and 1820 under Lazar Agošton's direction, the castle's grand opening included a performance by composer Franz Liszt at the Ečani Ball.

The castle received numerous distinguished guests throughout its history, including Austro-Hungarian heir Franz Ferdinand and Yugoslav king Alexander Karadjordjevic during hunting seasons.

Located 7 kilometers from Zrenjanin and 60 kilometers from Belgrade, the castle now functions as a hotel-restaurant with facilities for events and celebrations.

The former ballroom has been transformed into a restaurant serving national and international dishes while maintaining its original architectural features.
