Château de Vlajkovac, Neoclassical castle in Vlajkovac, Serbia.

The rectangular castle features an ochre facade with a central portico, iron-supported terraces, and decorative balustrades on both main entrances.

Count György Mocsonyi constructed this residence in 1859, and the Bissingen-Nippenburg family inherited it through marriage in 1888 until World War II.

The wrought iron decorations throughout the castle demonstrate the architectural preferences of the Austro-Hungarian Empire during the nineteenth century.

The Serbian Ministry of Culture provides funding for restoration studies of the building, which requires major renovations after decades of residential use.

A ceremonial hall sits above the entrance porch, topped with a cornice and an attic featuring a niche that contained the Bissingen-Nippenburg family crest.
