Ishimbay

Ishimbái sits at an elevation of 150 meters along the Belaya River, surrounded by rolling plains and resource-rich terrain in western Russia.

The settlement emerged in 1815 and transformed into a major industrial center after the discovery of oil deposits in 1932, establishing the first regional oil refinery.
