Ozherelye is a city district within Kashira, situated about 10 kilometers southeast of the city center. The area consists mainly of residential neighborhoods built across elevated terrain with structures typical of Soviet-era development.
The area was first recorded in 1578 and grew gradually over centuries. It received town status in 1958 and was later incorporated into Kashira in 2015.
The district maintains traditional Russian architectural elements throughout its residential areas, reflecting the typical urban planning patterns of Moscow Oblast settlements.
The district is accessible by train with regular connections heading toward Moscow, available throughout the year. These rail links provide the main transport connection for residents and visitors alike.
