Trinity Cathedral, Orthodox cathedral in Izmailovski district, Saint Petersburg, Russia
The cathedral features five blue domes rising above a white exterior, with four porticos and ornamental columns surrounding the main structure.
The current building, constructed between 1828 and 1835 under architect Vasily Stasov, replaced a wooden church established in 1754.
The interior walls display marble plaques engraved with names of Izmailovsky Regiment officers who perished in military conflicts.
The building, located near the Technological Institute metro station, accommodates up to 3000 worshippers during religious celebrations.
The cathedral houses a 15th-century Holy Trinity icon, which remains a sacred object of worship for Orthodox believers.
