Izhevsk Reservoir

The Izhevsk Reservoir lies at the confluence of the Izh River and Yagul tributary, serving as a water supply for the surrounding region. The body of water covers a significant area with multiple sections along its shoreline.

The reservoir was created in the 1760s to support ironworks operations in the area and was substantially rebuilt in the early 1800s. These changes reflected the region's growing industrial needs and infrastructure demands.
