Sosnovo, Rural settlement in Priozersky District, Russia
Sosnovo extends across the Karelian Isthmus with a population of 7,209 residents and functions as a station on the Saint Petersburg-Kuznechnoye railroad line.
The settlement, established in 1500 under the name Rautu in Finland, underwent territorial changes during the Winter War and was transferred to Soviet control in 1944.
