Shamora, Sandy beach in Vladivostok, Russia.

Shamora is a sandy beach extending over two kilometers along the Ussuriysky Gulf coast with multiple recreational zones for swimming and relaxation. Fine sand covers the shore, offering space for visitors to walk, swim, and sit by the water.

The area was originally known as Feldghausen Bay, named after a military governor in the 1880s. The name was later changed to reflect the location's geographical characteristics.

The name originates from Chinese words meaning sand desert, reflecting the place's heritage. Visitors can observe how locals use the beach for everyday activities and leisure.

Visitors can reach the beach via bus routes 28 and 28k, which stop near the shore for direct access. Entry to the beach is free, and the area is open year-round for swimming and walking.

The bay waters contain various marine life including scallops, sea urchins, and starfish living on the seafloor. This underwater diversity makes the beach appealing for those interested in exploring coastal ecosystems.
