Pushkin Bridge, Pedestrian arch bridge in Moscow, Russia
Pushkin Bridge is a pedestrian footbridge across the Moscow River that uses a metal arch to span between both banks. The walkway is enclosed with glass walls and topped by a gabled roof for shelter.
The bridge was constructed by reusing the main arch from a former railway structure. This arch was relocated in 1999 and incorporated into the new pedestrian crossing design.
Located near Gorky Park, the bridge serves as a gathering point for street musicians and artists who perform for visitors throughout the year.
The crossing connects two different districts and is easy to reach on foot. The nearest metro station is close by and provides good transport connections.
The central span features a corridor with glass walls and a gabled ceiling, protected by a curved metal arch reaching 15.4 meters at its peak.
