House museum of Viktor Vasnetsov

The House Museum of Viktor Vasnetsov is the painter's former residence in the Meshchansky District and holds roughly 24,000 objects. The collection includes paintings, sketches, furniture, and personal items that tell the story of his daily life.

The wooden building was constructed in 1894 based on Vasnetsov's own designs and served as his residence until he died in 1926. The house became a gathering place for artists and intellectuals interested in Russian art and culture.
