Alexeevo-Akatov Monastery

The Alexeevo-Akatov Monastery rises on a steep bank of the Voronezh River with white walls and golden domes that stand out against the city's horizon. The complex includes several churches, with the oldest stone structure dating from 1674 and representing the city's first building of its kind.
