Gentry Assembly building

The Gentry Assembly building stands on Sibirskaya Street as a structure with classical features including symmetrical proportions, tall windows, and decorative stonework. The architectural details show the style favored by the upper classes during the 19th century.

Ivan Ivanovich Sviyazev designed this building between 1832 and 1837 as a central meeting place for Russian nobility in Perm. Its creation reflected the importance such representative spaces had for the self-expression of the wealthy population.
