The Biryulyovskiy Arboretum is a large park with forest areas in Moscow's Biryulyovo Vostochnoye district. The grounds include pathways through different vegetation zones, with metal-framed bridges crossing ravines and various types of trees and shrubs arranged in properly maintained sections.
The park was founded in 1938 by a dendrologist who transformed the former wasteland into a planting site for trees. The initial phase involved preparing a certain area of land where the extensive collection of tree varieties was later assembled.

In spring, flowering cherry trees planted as a gift in 2010 create a special sight for visitors. These trees stand in areas that are easily reached by guests and round out the collection.
