Construction of the Delta Institute began in 1971 and finished in 1982, initially serving as a laboratory facility for the Semiconductor Engineering Design Bureau.
The Delta Institute represents Russian architectural development of the early 1980s, designed by architects I.G. Gokhar-Kharmandaryan, Y.I. Nikiforov, and L.S. Masolkina.
The building includes eight passenger elevators, one freight elevator, and underground parking facilities within its 50,000 square meters of total space.
The structure originally included a helipad on its roof, which was later removed during subsequent modifications to the building.
