Tchaikovsky State House-Museum, Historical music museum in Klin, Russia.
The house features a collection of 200,000 items including Tchaikovsky's personal belongings, furniture, library, manuscripts, and his functional Becker piano.
Tchaikovsky selected this residence as his final home in May 1892, where he composed Symphony No 6 and completed the orchestration of The Nutcracker.
Musicians gather annually at the museum every May 7th to perform on Tchaikovsky's grand piano, maintaining a tradition that started in the 1920s.
Located 85 kilometers northwest of Moscow, the museum preserves the composer's living quarters exactly as they were during his residency in 1892-1893.
The composer's bedroom contains a Karelian birch table where he wrote his final compositions while overlooking the garden through large windows.
